Purpose:
The renovation of this physical therapy and rehabilitation center was designed to enhance patient experience and well-being by prioritizing safety, accessibility, and privacy. Richard’s commitment to advancing healthcare is evident through its thoughtful approach to creating environments that support healing and comfort.
Challenge:
The project involved modernizing 7,000 square feet of active healthcare space, requiring meticulous planning to maintain functionality across multiple floors of a busy hospital. This complexity was further amplified by the need for careful coordination with various trades and specialty subcontractors to minimize disruption to critical patient care areas.
Outcome:
Richard successfully delivered a revamped space that includes additional private exam rooms and a comfortable waiting area, significantly improving patient privacy and comfort. The incorporation of efficient wayfinding and sustainable, energy-efficient systems earned the project an Exceptional Rating from the owner. Temporary air handlers were utilized to ensure uninterrupted airflow and humidity control, demonstrating Richard’s commitment to patient safety and well-being. This project reinforces Richard’s dedication to building for purpose, allowing healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care in a thoughtfully designed environment.
